The Falleen Federation has moved swiftly to reaffirm its enduring commitment to the people of Chommel following growing New Republic interest in the sector.

The development came only hours after the New Republic finalized its acquisition of the Naboo system from the Trade Federation. A subsequent communication to King Jado Dur`rik made clear that the New Republic intended to begin rebuilding Naboo while considering an expanded role—and potentially greater control—within the Chommel Sector.

For more than a decade, Chommel has remained under the protection and authority of the Falleen Federation. That responsibility, entrusted to the Federation by history and upheld through steadfast governance, would not be abandoned.
